Paul Carrico has served as Georgia Gulf Corporation's President and Chief Executive Officer since February 2008. Prior to this position, Paul served as the company's Vice President - Chemicals & Vinyls. He began his employment with Georgia Gulf in 1999 as resin business manager. In 2005, he became the company's vice president of polymers. Prior to joining Georgia Gulf, Paul held several positions with Condea Vista Company (formerly Conoco Chemicals), including plant manager, product manager of PVC and general manager of olefins and vinyl.
A native of Louisville, KY, Paul earned an M.S. in Engineering from the University of Louisville in 1973 and a Masters in the Science of Management with an emphasis on corporate and business strategy from MIT in 1993.
Paul currently serves as chairman of the Vinyl Institute and as a board member of the Vinyl Siding Institute and the PPFA. He previously served as a board member of the PHH joint venture with PPG.
