Mr. Thompson joined Georgia Gulf in February 2008 as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the company, he was Senior Vice President and CFO of Invacare Corporation. Previously, he held increasingly responsible corporate financial management positions with Sensormantics Electronics Corporation and Wang Laboratories. He began his career in public accounting with Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse.
Mr. Thompson holds a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
